Look at main sights of historical and cultural significance in Yekaterinburg: Yekaterinburg City, The Church on the Blood, Voznesensky (Ascension) Hill, Square of 1905 Revolution, «Plotinka» (The Dam), The Sevastyanov House, House of Merchants Agafurovy. You will walk through the old quarters of the XVIII century and Chekist Town. This city is known as the world's largest «open air constructivism museum». Yekaterinburg is home to a rich collection of monuments to constructivism, the innovative architectural style popular during the 1930s.
In addition, you will see the panorama of Yekaterinburg from the open sightseeing platform which is located on the 52th floor of the Business Center «Visotsky». From this point one can see a truly magnificent view — historical architectural complexes, Yekaterinburg motorways, and domes of the temples from an unusual angle.
Ganina Yama is the well-known temple complex located in a few kilometers from Yekaterinburg. Here, in Ganina Yama were brought remains of last emperor of Russia and his family after execution in 1918. Events of 1918 became a crucial event in the history of Russia; with them Romanov's imperial dynasty that was at the head of the Russian empire since 1613 was terminated.
Since 2000 began revival of Ganina Yama - there was established a monastery of the Saint Regal Martyrs. Monastery building went quickly; were erected wooden temples and also economic constructions. Now there are 7 churches, all of them different and mostly wooden, symbolize the 7 members of the Tsar family.

Program of the excursion:
14:00 - meeting near the university building on Lenina st., 51.
14:15 - bus trip from the city to Ganina Yama. During the trip the guide will tell about Romanov's imperial family and the history of the monastery.
15:00-16:00 - arrival to Ganina Yama, excursion in the monastery.
16:45 - arrival in the centre of Yekaterinburg, start sightseeing.
19:00-19:30 - visit to the sightseeing platform of the BC "Visotsky".
MUSEUMS
1. YELTSIN CENTER
Boris Yeltsin Museum is the first presidential museum in Russia opened on November 25, 2015. Yeltsin era was an uneasy and romantic time. To understand and get a feel of it, evaluating historical role of the first Russian President is essential.
The Museum houses nine exhibition areas. The opening hall is Labyrinth depicting the family story of the Yeltsins within the framework of the 20th century turbulent events. From there, a visitor enters a complex of rooms under the common name, Seven Days that Changed Russia, to see the story of the first Russian President and his time.

2. YEKATERINBURG MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS
The Urals' largest museum of fine arts is located in the center of Yekaterinburg. In October the "Future Seers" exhibition is taking place here. The exhibition is dedicated to russian avant-garde arts of 1910-1920's. Visitors can see the masterpieces of pictorial and graphic arts of all russian avant-garde styles as well as various artifacts such as posters, manifests and photos of famous artists and poets.

3. SVERDLOVSK DISTRICT MUSEUM OF LOCAL HISTORY
The Museum houses number of exhibition areas dedicated to archeology, ethnography, history, and architecture as well as instauration and taxidermic workshops. The Museum is well-known around the world for storing the Great Shygir Idol. This is the eldest extant wooden sculpture which is about 9500 years old.

4. THE MUSEUM OF THE URAL’S NATURE
Unique showpieces in the Museum can make you completely realize how Urals' nature looked in ancient times and how it changed as ages passed. Most known exhibits here are mammoth's remains, skeletons of an ancient deer and a cave bear.
The Museum's collection contains about 60 thousand exhibits.

5. THE MUSEUM OF THE ARTS AND JEWELRY
Urals' nature is rich in minerals and native people have always been masterful in crafting stone articles. The Museum is located at the bulding which earlier housed the Mining Department Pharmacy. Now all thre floors of the building are housing the Museum's exhibition halls. At the first floor one can visit "Bazhovkiy" hall where varnished panels with pictures from Pavel Bazhov's fairytales are exhibited. At the second floor the Emerald room and the Malachite room are located as well as area of the contemporary jewelry arts. The exhibition area at the third floor is dedicated to the stonecarving arts of the XVIII-XX centuries.

6. THE «URAL’S LITERATURE LIFE» MUSEUM
The museum is located in the house where the famous russian writer Dmitriy Mamin-Sibiryak lived at the end of the XIX century. The exhibition consists of three parts. The first one is dedicated to most significant Urals' writers A. Lotsmanov and K. Nosilov. Here visitos can also find exhibits related to the famous russian writers who visited Urals. The second area presents the history of music and theater, and the third area shows the interior of the common house of the 1890's.
