The Fifth International Luria Memorial Congress
Dear colleagues, we ask you to carefully consider the requirements for the presentation of posters, and prepare posters with reports in strict accordance with the specified requirements.
In case your posters poster is ready and its parameters are different from the requirements below, please inform the organizers of the congress about this to take an individually solve the issue of presenting your report.
Requirements for poster presentations
The size of the stand is 1000 mm (height) x 2000 mm (width).
On each side of the stand in two places posters in A1 format (sheet size A1: 594 × 841 mm).
The poster should be oriented vertically.
All speakers will be in sufficient quantities equipped with everything necessary for fastening posters.
All stands will be signed in accordance with the numbering of reports in the program. Please place your poster only on your stand. Any of the authors of the report should be present near the stand during the entire time specified in the program for this poster section. All posters should be placed on the stands before the beginning of the section to which your report belongs, and removed from the stands at the end of your poster section.
The period of time during which the authors of posters are near their stand (in accordance with the program of the Congress):
14.10.2017 from 11-30 to 12-00 (sections 1 to 4).
14.10.2017 from 16-30 to 17-00 (sections 5 to 8).
15.10.2017 from 11-00 to 11-30 (sections 9 - 12).
14.10.2017 from 9.00 to 10.00. (Sections 1 to 4).
14.10.2017 from 14.00 to 15.00 (section 5 - 8).
15.10.2017 from 9.00 to 9.30 (section 9 - 12).
Information about the preparation of the posters themselves.
The text should be read well from a distance of 1 m. Therefore, it is recommended to print the poster headline not less than 60th size, and the text of the poster - not less than 24th. To make sure that you did everything correctly, you can print the poster in a reduced form to the A4 format. If the text had read, everything would be fine.
The poster report usually contains all the same sections as the scientific article - introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions and references. However, the text of the poster is not an article, but rather an abstract, so less is better, but pay attention to figures and other illustrations.
Also you can make handouts for interested colleagues. Try to prepare to talk about your research in English in case you are approached by someone from the audience who does not speak Russian.
